T1D Buddy Camp's fabulous venue, Camp Tamarack generously welcomed our T1D campers to their very first session of summer camp in 2014. Over the years we have benefitted tremendously from their generosity and expertise, and the warm feeling of community they nurture every day.

Camp Tamarack staff partner closely with T1D Buddy Camp to ensure that every camper is receiving personalized diabetes care while also being included in every activity. Multi-day camps offer a traditional summer camp experience and campers choose how to spend their days. In the morning they offer a wide variety of classes and activities, ranging from outdoor skills to baking, from snorkeling to theater! Campers spend their afternoons swimming or boating on the beautiful lake, rock climbing, crafting in the craft studio, playing team sports, or simply hanging out with their new friends. After dinner the whole camp comes together for camp-wide evening programming and campfire. The days are full, and the days are fun!
